Emily's 11th Birthday
Emily had a really great birthday celebration. Jeff was running into a long day, from 2 a.m. on, so about 5 p.m. I got the barbecue going and cooked up burgers and hot dogs. Jeff came home halfway through and the girls got the back patio ready. Yea!
The girls started the day with blowing up balloons and decorating cupcakes.
Burgers and hot dogs were a hit -- Donna her grandson, Nathan, came over too.
The earrings and necklace.
Em opened up her present from GrannieDee and found her little Pillsbury Dough dude she'd accidentally left behind on our last trip up north.
The quilt from Grandma -- it's gorgeous!
These were from Nathan and they've been used today. Gaagh!
One of the gifts from Donna.
Gee, what's her favorite new gift? LOL. It's a $10 Marbl from Virgin Mobile. Had a horrible time setting it up, but it's up and running and we're happy now.
Then we headed to Camp Putt over by Roaring Rapids Pizza and really had a fun time playing 18 holes. The kids were nuts -- Jeff was a little stressed after a long day of work, but Donna was laughing so hard she was crying and that kept things on an even keel. LOL!
Really a gorgeous little place. We are looking forward to playing there again. There are two 18-hole courses -- we picked the shadier one with the waterfall.
My Emily.
My Sophie.
Ehehehe. Donna and Sophie lost their balls into the water a few times.
Blowing out the candles. Happy Birthday to my Emster!
